Patrick was my guide as we explored Cochran Shoals on the Chattahoochee River. His ability to I.D. birds by sound is impressive! He helped me learn new birds by describing identifying characteristics. He can quickly explain what the unique identifiers on a specific bird are. He is generous with his knowledge, collaborating with some of his birding friends we ran into on the trail. I would love to bird with Patrick again! Caroline form SLC.

If you are planning a birding trip, definitely go with Patrick Maurice. My husband and I had an amazing time birding with him in Cape Hatteras last year. He is an experienced guide with extensive knowledge on the species. We saw all the birds on our list and even saw a few lifers. Patrick made everyday a fun adventure.

I had the privilege and pleasure of birding with Patrick at Magee Marsh earlier this year. His passion for birding is infectious, and his patience with less experienced birders (me!) is admirable. As the day progressed his excellent birding skills became obvious as more experienced birders looked to him for confirmation. It was a great day birding with Patrick!

I highly recommend Patrick Maurice and Georgia Birding Guides. I have birded with Patrick since his high school years. He was always so kind, and knowledgeable to assist me as a new birder. I remember one trip where he heard a target bird, then looked at the group and said, let’s go find that bird. And we have found many birds since then. As an adult expert he and the GA Birding Guides are the best.

Patrick and Eliot are both amazing tour leaders, they are highly knowledgeable in their bird identification skills and both lovely people to go on bird walks with! They lead walks with birders of ANY level, helping sharpen their skills! As a young birder, it means so much to me that they take the time to help me become a better birder. They know amazing spots to go birding watching, and SO much more! I highly HIGHLY recommend going on as MANY bird walks with them as you can, as to me, they are mentors. I look up to them as they pretty much know every call and song by heart. I can’t wait to go out birding under their leadership again soon!

Eliot V. took my kids out on several occasions to train for a state birding event. His mentorship led their team to first place in their age group two years in a row. All around so knowledgable and seems to have a level of insight I've never encountered before.

Patrick’s extensive knowledge of birds and birding is surpassed only by his passion for sharing the experience with others. I have no problem recommending him for guiding novice birders or assisting more seasoned birders with a target bird.
